There is a tremendous need for training in pet first aid
and care. Unfortunately, thousands of pets die each year
from preventable accidents. According to The American
Animal Hospital Association one out of four additional pets
could be saved if just one pet first aid technique were
applied.
The Pet Tech First Aid & Emergency Care program
includes the skills and information necessary to prepare
the pet owner or pet care professional in the unfortunate
event of a medical emergency involving their pet or a pet
in their care.
Our Pet First Aid course will prepare you for...
restraining an ill or injured pet
cpr and rescue breathing
bleeding injuries
heat and cold injuries snake/insect bites
bandaging
checking vitals
and much much more...
The 4-hour class includes lecture, demonstration and hands
on practice.
