Targeting is a multi-purpose class providing a range of problem solving techniques ie leash pulling, fear of strangers etc...as well as fun tricks that include bowing, crawling or even riding a skateboard!
Through the use of clickers and treats as positive reinforcers you can, for example, make an otherwise stressful visit to the vet less so. Simple nose bumping methods (dog touches nose to hand on command) brings the focus on the dog owner and away from uncomfortable procedures. If your canine companion is well versed in basic obedience skills and needs "a job" or has an issue that needs addressing, this class is for you. Dogs (and their owners!) should have a good knowledge of the basics.
